1 Port PCI Gateway for Skype - TGD-A176, TGD-B176

 

Teleon PCI Gateway for Skype product consists of 2 variants: TGD-A176 and TGD-B176. TGD-A176 is a pure software package and is a driver for PCTel voice modem. If customer has already such a modem in his PC, this is the choice. TGD-B176 includes a PCI gateway card and its driver.  Its driver has the same function as TGD-A176.

TGD-A176 has a freeware version, which call duration limit is about 3 minutes each call.

 

Overview:
Teleon Gateway for Skype is a personal VoIP gateway works under Windows 2K/XP. It is a PCI card, has a FXO interface to connect PSTN phone line. Its driver works with Skype to convey calls from local PSTN to remote PC via Internet and vice versa.    
Features:
Automatic installation/uninstallation program helps you to install, uninstall and remove.
Call from Skype to remote PSTN: open a chat window in caller side Skype, type "atd xx..x", then initiate Skype call. Call will be forwarded by called side Skype to PSTN number xx...x. The max number of PSTN digits is 10.
Call from PSTN to Skype: Call to the PSTN phone number where the gateway card is connected. Gateway card will auto answer the call after a number of rings, send out a prompt tone to inform you dial, dial the Skype remote speed dial number yy and #.    
Call from PSTN to PSTN: Call to the PSTN phone number where the gateway card is connected. Gateway card will auto answer the call after a number of rings, send out a prompt tone to inform you dial, dial yy*xx..x#, where yy is Skype remote speed dial number, and xx..x is remote PSTN phone number. The max number of PSTN digits is 10.
Fix transfer mode: Incoming Skype calls will be forwarded to a fixed local PSTN number set by you, e.g. your cell phone number.
Easy configuration for call forward authentication, access blocking. Any dialed number start from 0 or 1 and 911 are prohibited. Only those who are in your contact list are allowed to make forward calls. You can also simply block all forward capabilities if you want.

 

Additional Information:
During a call, in any case a busy tone or a off hook warning tone received by the gateway card, the call will be released. 
In some country, after a PSTN party hook on, the remote PSTN party will receive the off hook tone or busy tone after a period of voice notification. Since the gateway card cannot recognize the voice notification, it may take some time for gateway card to release the call if the PSTN party release the call first. 
Before installation of a new Teleon driver, you need to remove the old Teleon driver if you have. For installing TGD-B176 card, you need to remove all the existing modem cards in your PC.
After installation of Teleon driver, Skype may ask you to allow access by SkypeMan.exe( or TeleonMan.exe). Answer yes since this is Teleon Driver's Skype Manager program.

Windows 2000/XP.
CPU above 900Mhz, 256MB RAM and 20MB hard disk space.
TGD-A176 requires a PCTel modem card, such as PCTel 688 PCI card,  789 PCI card,  PCTel AMR or CNR card.

You can download Teleon Gateway for Skype TGD-A176 if you have a PCTel voice modem card. You can use trial serial number 0001 to install it as a freeware version and check if it is suitable for you. If you want it full functioning, order a Serial Number. The difference between a freeware and full version is a freeware version only guarantee 3 minutes duration of each call, after that, voice will deteriorate.  TGD-B176's driver part is same as TGD-A176.
